[ music | Behemoth- Conquer All ]

Once again i've taken my time to post an update- which probably is not fair on some people. Almost a week ago I will privilidged to see a horde of death metal bands in the Camden Palace (re-named the Koko). Never before in my life had I seen an attence of so many gargantuan sized men with hair down their backsides. It was awesome. It only got better once the better acts came on- making the crowd looking like a giant mop sweeping up testosterone. These acts included Hate Eternal, Unleased, the headliners being Nile, but the band that really did it for me were those freaky Polish make up wearing dudes Behemoth

(I don't know how to LJ cut properly yet)

Their sound was the most clearest AND most vicious. Because of them some woman punched out one of my contact lenses. Of coursr that was during a moment where I teamed up with someoneone in the pit the swing around and knock some sweaty woman beaters down like skittles. It was worth it. Just wish Ed took some photos or something with his phone.

Its been a bit queit since then, just started back at college and have been given my first three assignments for the first quarter of the year. Its good seeing some familiar faces again and being back into the fix of things.

AND at last someone looked at my CV and have appointed me a job interview at a Beefeeter resturant. Hopefully I can get these and not take anymore insults of being joblessly worthless (I actually am quoting someone on that.)

Witch festival [03 Sep 2005|09:48pm]
Woot, went to the summer Witchfest today held at a park in Cobham. Was pretty neat with nice and colourfully dressed people (sort of like the types you see around camden but without the miserable faces). Lots of things general like Birds of Prey and Ferrit races where there to more mythical things like Wiccan art, spellcasting goods, wandmaking, tryout archery, re-enactments (with suits of armour included).

The only downside to the place was that they didn't allow photos (probably pecause wiccan and pagan is mistaken for satanism and fears bad publicity). But in the end I managed to bring back some cool things like rune tabliture, a hand carved blade and the all too apparent "lousy" t-shirt (although I hardy think its lousy when it has an advanced pentagram stiched onto it!)

I've now just let my dinner settle inside me (a big fat donor kebab) and I shall now settle and recover any lost sleep I might have had in the past week.

Right after my hentai dose and fanfic reading....

My cat Sidress had to be checked out because of a mouth infection and refused to eat for a while, and ended up looking extremely skinny it was scary!!! But after a couple of checks with the vet, they injected some fluid into her and gave her anti-biotics and it seems to have cleared. She is now at this moment feeding from the cat bowl in the kitchen!

My Nile tickets for the 7th of September came in today! YAY! Death metal wOOtage! Should be some somthing truley balistic!!

My Bass decided to break just before my first practice in Ruff Rockers (when I mean break I mean the volume wire decided to disconnect from the input jack and therefore not power the active pickups to my bass) how ironic! But aside from all that it was an okay practice with Ed and Lofty, but I'm still due to be a session bassist with hardcore band "Open War" and with any luck i'll get it fixed before sunday!

(I started the last three topics with "my" so I'll be different this time) I met a rather interesting person from St. Alban's- he's a guy but, my gawd, he wreaks of sexiness and tasteful personality:

What a bishi he is!

I've just finished picking plums in my garden and I'm due for one more evening gaff before I go off to a witch festival tomorrow!

Unreality! [31 Aug 2005|04:59pm]
Last friday I was a piss up at the back of a redundant bakery. There were pleanty of familiar faces, and it was quite a lively atmosphere.

But I'll be blunt, what made my night was when I followed a matey climbing the neighbooring roofs of the bakery. There was a garage placed right next to it and he was gonna jump it. He chickened out. I thought about it, declined it, but then thought "fuck it" and jumped the ally to the roof.

I fell through the roof!!!

Something had broken my fall when I landed in the garage (plastic sheets or something). At any other time I would've been shocked but because I was fueled on cider the message going through my mind was "Shit, I swear it looked strong enough". Amazingly I pulled myself out through the hole I just made and was met by a standing ovatation and a bit of laughter (understandably). I should've been hurt but somehow, I wasn't. I think the aclohal acted as both a valium and a pain-killer.

I came off the roof, and offered to pay for damages. Luckily I got it right when I payed £30 because they fixed it quickly for £31. But that was least of my worries: I was told the roof was made of abestos three days later! Having relised the further danger I was in, I immediatly decided to be checked out. Luckily I've not been exposed to anything and they say I'm perfectly fine.

For that I'm greatful

The moral is don't do anything risky unless your supervised and someone's taping the event.

In the taste of video gaming [26 Aug 2005|02:53am]

[ music | Enslaved- "Isa" album (and a damn good one) ]

Prepare for Linkies ^_^

Firstly here's a series on newgrounds for fans of both video games and really great comedy (not to metion being made by animators in England!)

"Decline of Video Gaming": ONE,TWO & THREE

I'ts not one of those series' that really requires you to watch them in order, but you might find it you can relate better to these rather bored people (keep an eye out for the FFX reaches Canada clip in No. 2 ROFL!!!!)

Along my travel bordering from here and myspace.com, I discovered something absolutely hilarious in the form of an ametuer film:
Video Games Kill People

Hillarious!!!!

In other news I woke up a bit late today; I've tons of energy to kill, and I'm not proud that I do at this hour of nearly three in the morning.

Much goodness [22 Aug 2005|01:43pm]
[ mood | full ]

Hello again pplz, I had myself a full weekend thanks largly to the Sofaofdeath for bringing me out of two DIY situations at both my house and my Dad's house. After tearing up carpets, gathering dust, sneezing alot here came the magic sofa person to tell me of random stuffness that were to happen on Saturday night. That invite acctually saved me from Glenn and his plans of finding stripclubs with me (and from here I thought "no thanks" and "I gotta run northwards").

So I found the Sofa person and was taken to a garden were things got burned! BURNED I SAY!!! Actually thats just Mikey's destructive obbsession in his backgarden with a few attending the place including Jilly (hello). It was great seeing some familiar and unfamiliar faces once again over the weekend. I had a fun time burning things at yours, Mikey. Flame on!!

After this point the weekend would be consumed with anime fan-age and the like. Thanks again for shelter Issy, and coupons, and Ice cream, and stuffage- same thanks for Emma plus chocolate and bread for the duckies which we would eventually feed before the horrible geese came and almost bit our fingers off in sheer pain!! *phew* I owe you alot! ^_^

Now I am indulging in a cornish pasty whilst taking a break from pasting tiles in the new bathroom.

*chews on pasty covered in burger sauce*

Can't talk, I'm eating Dave

My congrats go to anyone who did well on their A-levels. May you find the higher education you are looking for. Keep in mind you will be missed more than usual (though I was expecting this to happen for over a year now so hopefully I've made good friends in that time). We should go for one last drink or whatever and pray no-one gets drunk too soon.

Lately I have not done too much, only preparing to return to college by helping over people with their scripts and whatnot. I was pleased to recieve a letter saying I had some kind of college achievement award or what-not. Sounds good, so have to see whats thats all about on the 21st of September.

Most of my social life now has consisted of me attending various house parties that bring drinks, weed and heavy tunes. After leaving with the ruislip cru (pretty much members of the two bands I follow around) we had a run in with some agressive chavs complaining that one of us shunting into some guy's brother and made a HUGE deal out of it- large enough for one guy to come out with a spade, stop at a bus stop, and smash the glass after a few swings. What was the point in that, chav? All it did was made Grant of The Silent Takeover angry enough to punch a hole in the bus station glass with a single punch. Once the chavs saw that- they were silent, and ended up shaking our hands in the end. Idiots.

Well I'm decending into that late evening-early morning madness that slowly eats away at my will and self-esteem, but I'm happy even if alcohol occasionally fucks my throat!

Okies starting off I got alot of filming done on the weekend for Inner Conflict. Thanks again Hayley for your contributions, this should turn out to be a damn good film.

In another update I've taken to ridiung my bike to capitalise on the currently hot and sticky weather, I just ride long distances hopeing I might have run-in with friends. There's not alot of people I like to hang with that live where I live, its always a trek to go places to find better people. The minimum fee is £1.20. Bollocks!!!

Anyways half term coming up, I'll be spending most of it editing and getting alot done. Terri should at my house all week. It'll be good to talk to her again.

Also, i'll be on a small tour with The Silent Takeover and Final Ruin who are traveling to Lowesoft, in Suffolk on the 17th of June. They guys who were meeting there promised a beach party after the gig! Should be great, get drunk on the beach and perhaps forget who I am for a few minutes! Yay!!!!! Obviously I'll maintain the role of a resposible cameraman (yeah, right....hehehe).

I'm gonna miss alot of people who are going to Uni (Hayley included) better prepare a special salute dance and jack daniel's- lots of it!!!!!!!

On the deeper emotion, I'm becoming frequently more naive and pissed off at times. There's a new hole in my wall because of it- because of my anger, because I punched it. Hopefully it should subside as it does sound kind of childish!

Oh well- eat man flesh and devour the innocent!!!!!!!

DEVOUR I SAY!!! GARGLE!!!!

Firstly I passed the I.T. exam with flying colours (35/40 questions), I had myself another shurade of madness on monday at the Trinity. I even pitted with a bag over my head

In the end it got shreadded, so all I have of what remains of the bag is this pic! (RIP)

Anyhow I'm almost done with this year's coursework, should leave room for other things that I've wanted to do with my time (like writing folk songs believe it or not!)

London Expo- Film and Comic (And MANGA) Convention [15 May 2005|09:09pm]
[ mood | cheerful ]
[ music | Cradle of Filth- Dusk in her Embrace ]

This year's London expo was fantastic. Preferably because this year they decided to include multiple manga/anime distrubutors including Tokyopop, AVI, MvM, and Manga itself. Its official- it is becoming a growing interest amoung the country. Which is good because now for once I can be cool and like the stuff I'm getting at the same time.

Many thanks to Iz for informing me of the event. And many thanks to NEO magazine for informing her of the event (and the info for fast track tickets- they proved to be useful but the que was still big and only got in half an hour ealier than anyone else)

There were devoted looking cosplayers there, sci-fi mechandise, Leneard Nemoy, live wrestling (including appearences by RVD and Matt Hardy), the Star Trek enterprise crew (a star trek series I don't watch), and lots and lots of stuff that made me wish I came with a larger budget!!! I spent a good hour and a half drawing my variation of an anime character and subitting it at the swetdrpo comic publishers! I have yet to recieve feedback on it.

Hopefully Iz and Emma went away with some nice treasures (even though alot of the stuff free- nobody can resist goodie bags)

Thank you Hayley for coming down and surprising me, you didn't have to but I'm glad you did.

I brought my brother Steve down because he like manga as much as I do, though I had no idea he was suffering an earache at the time that would only get worse later and need to see a doctor. He is alright now and enjoyed himself- but in better circumstances, he probably would've eaten some of our noodles and would've not been able to resist some sushi!

It was a very good day, a the most fateful thing happened on the way home for me and steve- actualy two things:

1. They were advertising the fructis "manga head" hair gel on an advert at a bus stand
2. More appropriately my mate Ashley and his girlfriend Angelina were sitting on the back of the bus that was infront of the one me and Steve were on. Ash and Angie were planning on going at the expo today (the 15th). The moment Ash noticed me and Steve sitting at the top-front of the double decker bus, hecalled my mobile and I pretty much gave him the low-down on the event. We wer talking to eachother whilst racing in busses LOL. Its a small world after all!

Anyways I got me another small gig to go to tommorrow. Should be fun, I think I'll attend with a paper bag over my head with eyeholes cut out whilst pitting. Should be great!!

[ music | Killswitch Engage- The End of Heartache album ]

OK, so it turns out I didn't go to Croydon after all, as there would be any room for me in the car of the person who picks up Ajay to Club Loop. In a way I'm relieved, because now I dont have to fight any wiggas (or at least not yet). What I did record was the start of Ajay's documenatry "Life of a DJ". Its quite facinating with all the sounds he makes on his turntable kit. Alot of familiar, and yet, crazy sounds. Don't worry guys, I'm not turning into a chav- that would be careless!

Now I'm preparing for the anime-con which I've been anticipating for a while which is full of wOOtness! ^_^

But if I hype it up too much I will probably jinks it!

[ music | Bleeding Through- Love lost in a hale of gunfire ]

Hello again, I spent most of last night with the pure determination to have the physical abillity to stand up for myself. So I spend hours just excersising and lifting my brother's arm weights. I've finally decide I'm sick of panic, so I'm fighting it off with more physical excersise. That pretty much means forcing myself everyday to sweat and to smell of beef jerky!

I only brought this on because I only dont want to be sad and think that the future is grim. I will replace these inner insainities with the anger and rage to fuck up someone else. WE are all condemned to our own walls- I will not allow mine to grow tighter and take away my ability to run free amongst the happier active crowd.

Tommorow it looks like I'll be heading to Croydon to film my classmate Ajay doing his usual routeen as a DJ at an Rn'B club-should be interesting if a little uncomforting but oh well, If I see wigga (white niggaz) they will be plauged with a virus that is my acussing stare of prejudicial hatred.

*the following message is from Mr. Fletcher*

[ music | Enslaved- ISA ]

I have a huge headache at the moment- alot of my work is based around viewing computer screens! I am now viewing a computer screen to type this entry soI am now doing myself more harm! Oh well when shit happens- something grows right after it.

I cant make any really big announcements, as of yet, apart from the anime con at the Expo center is this Saturday!!! YAY!!! ^_^ I've gotten a ton of people interested to get off their asses and view it. I personally feel I need to make sure they host another anime convention again in the next year by high demand!

Right now I'm knee high in coursework, alot of people have asked me for camera work- and without releasing the importance of the coursework itself I volunteer- well at least I am far from making enemies because I really hate breaking some silly twat's nose for just being a threatening twat!

Anyhow, views aside I'll be putting myself in yet another gig. More injuries and boozing and fist throwing. Pure filth with man sweat dripping everywhere! If I get hit I will honour thee with my piss wand! I think I'll go with a paper bag over my head with eyeholes cut out! They are bound to pick on me!

bleeding nose.... [23 Mar 2005|03:53pm]
[ mood | wounded and loving it ]
[ music | still a bit deaf! LOL ]

Woah, The Trinty Gig was a fucking mini-warzone! The silent Takeover and Final Ruin got the best reactions. There were loads of people that turned up for just a small stage. What is even more frightening is that these are two bands that have just started out.

It was the Silent Takeover's 2nd gig and Final Ruin's first!

I brought Ed with me to the gig, and within minutes of starting a pit formed with both the fans and the band. I was already fueled up on Jack Daniel's and coke and I already felt like throwing my fists about. There were a good number of people I reconised, not just from the band, but in the audience too. Chris, Alex, Tom, Ian, Grant, it was fun facing the pit with you guys! ^_^

Now about the pit that was formed..... it may have been a pub gig, but that didnät mean it wasn't going to be hostile....hell no! There were eople doing the usual of swing their fists around, doing spin kicks and the lot. Then pint glasses got shatteed then the floor became slippery, and at the same time more people were pitting and someone punched me in the nose. It was bleeding! I was now exicted at that point! He may have come up to me and apollogised but then I replied 'don't worry about it, if I didn't want to get hit, I wouldn't be in the pit!'

Because I was cheering and moshing like there was no tommorow, I could tell Ed became scared of me. Me and him have not been to enough gigs together. That'll give him something to think about.

I originally intended to be at the gig to film it, but instead I ended up being a part of it. Awesome.

The Slent Takeover were first. I had already had a glimpse of the Takeover's first gig at the Barfly and on Monday they were on top-form. The set included an intro tune that they composed before letting out the good shit like 'Tollerance' and 'Killjoy Fuck-up'. The pit was formed in no time and the top floor of the bar where the stage was- it was already tearing itself apart. Grant is a great frontman, pretty much a modern day Phillip Anselmo.

Next was Final Ruin. After listening to their two demo tracks "Lifeless" and "beyond recognition" I finnaly got to hear the other stuff theäve constructed with their time. Thank fuck Kaz is using an Ibanez guitar (he used some Aria guitar durring sessions before-hand)It gives it that edge in his brutal guitar playing. Ian (king) as a bass player is fucking frantic. Even with his bass he tries to become one with the audience. Which is good considering the last band he was in, Crimson Altar, didnät have the speed or intensity for him to do that. He needs to get straplocks though, that bass of his must be heavy! Great drumming from Nick, love the fills for the track "Lifeless" and "dead-man walking". As for Dean, I've said it before and I'll say it again, heäs got some incredible pipes on him. If the Silent Takeover were the ones who made me sweat, Final Ruin ensured that I would bleed!

I knew I would camp during Romeo Must Die, they were alright for their part, but they were too much of something I heard before. You know that sound when emo bands convert entirely to metalcore? Kind of like that. The interesting thing about their act was not the band but one of their followers- this oriental dude who did these incedible backflips off the bar wall in the pit. He also assisted Ian with his bass sttrap (Ian, get some straplocks, mate! Thatäs twice now!) I picked up one of romeo must Dieäs demos anyway because they did offer to headline anyway. I still need to get the other two bands' demos, they were gone as soon as they were offered.

Oh, and who can scream "Shepard's Pie"? That is the new rave going around- the idea is to scream as high as you can shepard's pie, imatating that hair metal band on the new oxo comercial.

Check out final ruin's website. It just got put up. Hopefully they'll have pictures of the event!

"NOW IS THE TIME TO RISE TO MY FEET" [15 Mar 2005|08:55pm]
[ mood | accomplished ]
[ music | Hatebreed- Rise of Brutality Album ]

Hello once again, to any existant readers out there, hope you are all okay. I had my self a brutal Sunday evening

The reason?.....Hatebreed!!!

Yes, I managed to see Hatebreed right after witnessing Ian play at the Barfly at Camden with his mate's band The Silent Takeover (formally known as Aversion).
He decided to stick around for the band Kingsize Blues and kindly offered me his ticket free of charge! I owe that guy, GREATLY!!!

One thing I noticed about Camden is that if you see a black guy walking around like a vodka fueled gimlet, the only words he will say are "Skunk/hash?". It's a pretty predictable steriotype.

During the train ride to Tottanam Court Road, The Silent Takedown Guitarist Jon realised he still had his weed risler on him, and needed a place to hide it when entering the Fiddler, so unusually spotting a huge hole in my coat, I decide to stuff it in there.

....And funnily enough it worked! Even though none of us meant to have it there in the first place!

As for Hatebreed, even before the band went on, there were already three pits forming. Nothing like getting in the pit and destroying the shite next to you, or being destroyed yourself. Luckily if your taken down, you are assisted back up by some random bigger bloke next to you. I emerged with a BLEEDING FACE!!! I should have got the camera! They were great!

I'm perfectly alright, but dont do that shit unless you are absolutely serious!

Anyways I best get on with coursework, got three units due in next week! Before I go consider this if you are in the area...

Hello once again, I've left a gap in time with my entries, mainly because I've been feeling completely hollow, oh well no feeling, no pain, no gain. Only anger at times.

There was an ntry where I was pouring my heart out on (seriously I was) but live journel is going through this funny phase in going into read-only mode (probably since they bagged that peadophile).

Mabye its the fact I've been listening to nothing BUT My Dying Bride, maybe its because I'm a complete loser with no job, hardly any money, prone to making awful mistakes, getting less healthier, and worst of all lying.

I'm sick of the way I am living, I'm tired of the fact that there is this huge gap between my mother and my girlfriend- I'm torn between two types of love here! Slowly leaving room for one....

FUCK!!!!!! JUST MORE TEEN ANGST- IT SHOULD BE OVER THAT!!!!!

I've not been watching any TV for the past 3 months, I've gone a bit off meat - but fully vegetarian style!!!! GRRRRR

Here's a question to music lovers: what would happen if a bunch of skinny veegans tried to start an emo-core band?

Hell they wouldn't even have vocal power to scream, nor the stamina! It would just sound like a prune trying to speak!!!

anyways on to the links...
